Wohin fliehen Menschen, wenn sie nach Berlin fliehen? Für zwei Wochen bietet das Gorki über 30 internationalen Künstler*innen und Aktivist*innen eine Plattform, um dieser Frage nachzugehen. Neben künstlerischen Beiträgen werden täglich Inszenierungen, Debatten und Filme die Grenzen thematisieren, die sichtbar und unsichtbar die Bevölkerungen Berlins und Europas zerreißen.

WE WILL RISE gives a space for reflection for the people of the refugee movement aswell as an exchange with people who are not (yet) part of the movement. It is a growing exhibition and
archive. It focusses especially on the time since the tent actions and the protest march from
Würzburg to Berlin, the protest camp on Oranienplatz and the squatting of the former school in Ohlauerstr. It has the aim to make history visible and accessible and to use it for the present and the future. The exhibition and archive is just a beginning. It can only grow if you take part in it and add what is important to you.
We want to struggle together with you for a permanent place for this work.

WE WILL RISE schafft Raum für Reflektion innerhalb der Bewegung und Austausch mit Menschen, die (noch) nicht Teil der Bewegung sind. Es ist eine wachsende Wanderausstellung und ein Archiv. Der Fokus richtet sich auf die Protestzelte, den Protestmarsch von Würzburg nach Berlin, das Protestcamp am Oranienplatz und die besetzte ehemalige Schule in der
Ohlauerstraße. Die Ausstellung macht Geschichte sichtbar und zugänglich, um Gegenwart und Zukunft zu verändern. Die Ausstellung und das Archiv sind ein Anfang und im Prozess. Sie

WE WILL RISE propose un espace de réflection au mouvement des Réfugié.e.s et vise à créer une plateforme d’échange avec un public qui ne fait pas (encore) partie de ce mouvement. Cette exposition et ces archives s’étendent sans cesse. L’accent est mis sur l’histoire du mouvement depuis les “Tent Actions” (installations de tentes sur des places publiques), la marche de protestation de Würzburg à Berlin, le “Protest Camp” (occupation d‘une place publique par la construction d‘un campement) sur l’Oranienplatz et l’occupation de l’ancienne école dans la Ohlauer Straße. Notre but est de rendre cette histoire visible et accessible et de l’utiliser pour la lutte présente et à venir. L’exposition et les archives ne sont qu’un début. Elles ne pourront croître que si vous y participez et y ajoutez ce qui est important pour vous. Luttons ensemble pour trouver un espace pour accueillir ce travail au long terme !

تم انشاء فكرة هذا المعرض والأرشيف من اجل خلق مساحة  للتفاكر بين أفراد الحركة وايضاً من اجل إبراز تاريخ الحركة وتبادل الأفكار مع الأشخاص الذين لم ينضموا بعد للحركة .وهو عمل مستمر وينمو مع الوقت  ويركز المعرض خاصة علي الفترة من بداية حركة احتجاجات الاجئين بالخيام ومسيرة الاجئين علي الأقدام من مدينة فيزربورغ الي برلين .وفترة الخيام في اورانيمبلاتز والمدرسة التي احتلها الاجئين في شارع اولوار وذلك من اجل جعل هذا التاريخ ظاهرة ويمكن الوصول اليه حاليا او حتي في المستقبل .هذا المعرض والأرشيف يمكنه فقط ان يتواصل اذا أبديت الاهتمام بالمشاركة والإضافة فيه بما تراه مهما لك .
ومع  عبارة الناشطة الاميريكية في حقوق السود انجيلا ديفيز  ان حركة احتجاجات الاجئين في المانيا هي احدي الحركات المؤثرة في القرن الواحد وعشرين  والتي جعلت الرائ العام يهتم بقضية الاجئين  وجعلها  في كل وسائل الاعلام  لذلك ياتي هذا المعرض كنقطة مهمة في توثيق تاريخ هذه الحركة وابرازه لالخرين  نضال ضد الاستعمار والعنصرية  دائما ما كان حاضرا في التاريخ ولكن لم يكن كله موثقا نريد ان نبقي تاريخ حركتنا مسجلا وموجودا وحاضرا دائما لذلك نرغب منك في اظهار دعمك الازم من اجل تنفيذ فكرتنا في متحف الاجئين

On 7 August the exhibition and archive “WE WILL RISE” Has started in the “FHXB Museum”, Afterwards we walked through kreuzberg and visited Oranienplatz and ohlauer schule (Gerhart-Hauptmann-Schule) . In the afternoon we met in the biergarten jockel to discuss the current situation in four working groups. Later on there was music performance and party. thanks from every one who shared these nice and empowering moments with us.

Visit the Movement’s exhibition and stop by our box, where we tell the history of the International Women Space, from when it was created in the Ohlauer School and it’s nowadays activities. There is plenty of material of the former Women Space, the women-only wing on the second floor of the School, texts, photographs, info-material and videos documenting the work of many women involved in the Refugee Movement.

Why an exhibition and Archive about the Refugee Movement?
The Refugee Movement is a very broad movement. It is rooted in a long history of decolonial struggles. In the current struggle with its tent actions, protest marches, hungerstrikes, protest camps and roof actions, … , many many people join and leave the movement. The structures are very open and are renewed again and again. The movement changed a lot of minds and public opinions. Many achievements are made on personal levels as well as on political levels. A lot of knowledge how to fight, work and live together in such an incredible movement is produced by the fighters themselves. The exhibition WE WILL RISE is a collection of this important knowledge to use it for the ongoing movement.

Often the daily needs, troubles and changes inside the movement not allow us to have enough space for a deep reflection together on what we are doing and how we are struggling. WE WILL RISE intends to create a space for reflection for the people of the movement aswell as an exchange with people who are not (yet) part of the movement. The rise of the movement continues.
The continues dying at the outer borders of europe and many many protest actions of refugees in the recent years call the attention of the media and the public. But still the voices of the protagonists are not heard enough. The exhibition want to be part of the change of perspective in public concerning the fight of refugees.
WE WILL RISE is a growing exhibtion and a growing archive of the movement. It focusses especially on the time since the protest march from Würzburg to Berlin, the protest camp onOranienplatz and the squatting of Ohlauer school. It is not the aim to put all the information in a museum to declare it as history and closed. It is the aim to make history visible and accessible to use it for the present and the future. But the exhibition and archive can only grow if the people of the movement contribute to it. The exhibition need permanent places and spaces in order to grow and be accessible.
Nonetheless the demands of the movement – Abolish Residenzpflicht! Abolish all “Lagers”! Stopp all Deportations! The Right to Education and Work – are not yet made. To make the demands we need a process that the struggle reaches every corner of society. This exhibition is part of this process.

لماذا يجب ان نقوم بمعرض ونجمع تاريخ حركة نضال الاجئين

ان حركة احتجاجات الاجئين حركة كبيرة ورائدة وهي جزء من حركات نضال طويلة ضد العنصرية والاستعمار الجديد وفي فترة حركة احتجاج الاجئين التي بداءة مع حركة بناء الخيام ثم  المشي علي الاقدام حتي برلين ثم الاضراب عن الطعام ثم  خيام الاحتجاج
ثم احتلال سقف المدرسة 
عدد كبير انضم للحركة واخر غادر وهذا النظام المفتوح  احد العناصر الجيدة للحركة  وغيرت الحركة كثيرا جدا في المستوي العام وحتي علي المستوي الشخصي  فتحت منافذ كبيرة وواسعة لاشخاص كثر ومررت خبرات النضال لاخرين  واول حركة تقم علي جهد شخصي للاجئين انفسهم  فكانت كاول حركة لاجئين  تقوم بابراز قدرات الكثيرين
ياتي هذا المعرض لابراز كل هذا الجهد وفرصة طيبة لتبادل الافكار ومواصلة طريق النضال الذي لن يتوقف
