wir freuen uns, Sie zu unserem Workshop: „Leaving the queer bubble“ – PR und Medientraining im Rahmen des Projekts „Refugees & Queers. Politische Bildung an der Schnittstelle von LSBTTIQ und Flucht / Migration / Asyl“ einzuladen.

Die Fortbildung richtet sich an Multiplikator*innen, Bildungsarbeiter*innen und Aktivist*innen, die das Thema „Queer Refugees“ in die breitere Öffentlichkeit tragen wollen.

Zu Beginn wird Fadi Saleh mit uns über “Critical Reflections on the Global Politics of Representing Syrian Queer Refugees” diskutieren. Anschließend wird Joanna Stolarek von den Neuen Deutschen Medienmachern mit einem Basismedientraining für die Vermittlung von praktischem Know How sorgen. Abschließend wollen wir gemeinsam mit Dennis Sadiq Kirschbaum (i,Slam) und Tarik Tesfu am Beispiel von Digital Storytelling Möglichkeiten, Grenzen und Fallstricke der (Selbst)Repräsentation austesten

Die Fortbildung wird von Freitag, 27. Oktober bis Sonntag, 29. Oktober 2017 im Jugend- und Bildungshaus Tettenborn e.V. in Bad Sachsa in Niedersachsen stattfinden.

Dear everyone,

we kindly invite you to our workshop “Leaving the queer bubble“ – PR and media training organized within the project “Refugees & Queers. Political education at the intersection of LGBTTIQ and Migration /Asylum / Flight”.

We invite trainers, activists and political educators who want to address the topic of “queer refugees” within a wider public.
First, Fadi Saleh will discuss “Critical Reflections on the Global Politics of Representing Syrian Queer Refugees” with us. Via a basic media training, Joanna Stolarek of Neue Deutsche Medienmacher will then share practical media know how with the participants. Finally, Dennis Sadiq Kirschbaum (i,Slam) und Tarik Tesfu will explore the possibilities, boundaries and traps of (self) representation via the method of digital storytelling.

The workshop takes place on Friday, 27th of October to Sunday, 29th of October 2017 at Jugend- und Bildungshaus Tettenborn e.V. in Bad Sachsa in Lower Saxony.
