Fünf Grenzen

15ter Oktober 2016, Hemau

7ter Tag Protest Marsch

Five Borders

15th of October, 2016, Hemau
7th day of the Protest March

So today, we are on our way to Nuremberg. We have just crossed five cities. It is as if we have crossed five borders, one after another. From suffering to easiness, some have welcomed us comfortably, others didn’t even want to listen to our voices, having isolated us at the other end of th

e towns, as it happened in Freising and Moosburg. It is as if history is repeating again and again.

In the past, our ancestors have been slaves, our grandparents, who experienced World War I and II, have been violently forced to fight in the units of the Tirailleurs Sénégalais. They have helped the world to get freed from the invasion of the Nazis, but unluckily they asked for what they were entitled to. They were massacred in mases in the camp of Thiaroye (Senegal) and now it is us today, the grandchildren, who fight for our dignity, our existence, our freedom of movement, and, mainly, for education.

Is it too much to ask that one should be able to learn, if one is able to, is it too much to ask that one should be able to work, if you have the ability and the power, in order to not being dependent on someone, is it too much to ask in the 21st century to struggle for freedom and live, and what is left then from the struggles led by Ghandi or Martin Luther King and all the others. The world isn’t existing since today and it will not stop existing tomorrow. Let’s open our hearts, be in solidarity with each other, listen, don’t be afraid, take it seriously, let us take it serious, because neighbours will always cross each other’s ways, whether they want it or not.

Illegalisation of our Protest

3:30 pm

Now demonstration of people in solidarity starts at Neupfarrplatz, that will meet us on our way. On this place Non-Citizens were figthing for right to stay from 11th July till 6th of September 2012 and from 15th July till 21st of July 2013.

Later both demonstrations meet. However, we will be spending the night outdoors at Dultplatz, in spite of the freezing temperatures. We had been promised access to an indoor location, that has been retracted because the office of Regensburg’s major graded the march as “illegal action”.

This proceeding shows once again how the world illegalises our lives. Again and again, we have been forced to live in slavery, as third class people. Despite official registration and several cooperation talks, our protest and our struggle for freedom and dignity is illegalised. Of course, our protest is illegal in the eyes of the authorities, because people are motivated to fight for their rights. We demand that our lives matter too. We won’t remain silent any longer. No human being is illegal. Right to stay everywhere.

„GADUMA“ Ausstellung gegen Grenzen

Hallo.

The programm will follow soon maybe – Chaos, spontainious order

Contact: gaduma@riseup.net

The exhibition is thought as an solidary action towards people who face the European State unselection. We mean by that people without papers. Not any papers, or toillet papers but document papers. Documents people can not manufacture themselves. Papers only the state can give them. The same state who is asking for these papers. But the state doesn’t give them these fucking document papers! The state asks papers from them without giving them the papers they can only get from the same state which is asking them for the papers! Absurd! Then they are labeled illegalized and are victims of many kinds of intitutional abuse and daily humiliations, some are in prison, others are living as a kind of human domestic animals, or are forced to help Germany look nicer after what everybody knows about german history. Why we cannot only come, come and stay as we are and live our lives?

This exhibition accepts artworks of any kind. All materials, medias, categories. From texts to performances. Photos, sculptures, videos, visible or invisible objects, literally anything. Anything which can pass through a doorway of about one and half meters width, two and half meters height, X meters slope.

Four forms of object exchange are been considered. The artists will have the oppurtunity to buy and sell their artworks. An auction will take place. Lottery. A free box. Futher information detailing these exchanging forms will follow soon. By now it’s enough to say that these are options. The artists are those who finally decide if and in what extent they wanna partake in them. Everyone is an artist here.

We would like to invite all the artists who make some earnings in the exhibition to donate at least part of it to this project. The money being collected, will be given to refugee support structures and individual cases. Further information reguarding the specific destination of this income will follow as well.

The so-called Refugees are arriving to Berlin in numbers that the state seems unable to cope with. The public is split in its opinion. Being aware of the crisis situation, what can artists bring to the discussion? Where can they engage? How could they make a difference?

One of the things we can do, is to try to give a voice back to us, the people, to give ourselves a chance to understand what we are all living, and most of all to give ourselves a chance to experience it together.

We decided to give voices to humans and humanity, to make the people appear and the empty slogans disappear. We think the festival format is best to allow as much dialogue as possible to emerge. Within the rich program of exhibitions, performances, live music, talks, films and more throughout Neukölln, there will be plenty of chances for everyone to create together.
