I have became the back office of a group of 5 fathers from Portugal who, tired of the inactivity of official sides, decided to take things into their hands and are on their way to Croacia, Slowenia to do all possible to return with each “a family like theirs” – any information or tips on how to go about finding families highly appreciated / Hilton

I’m not sure if you are heading southeast, because you also want to volunteer at the borders, or just to bring some refugees to their new home. But if you are going down to volunteer, I would recommend for each volunteer to “register” at the new organization http://www.iha.help … this is a new association of the people who helped out at Röszke. They coordinate the volunteers to where they are needed the most and wants to connect people with cars with people without cars to get there. Also they are trying to build a network on-site this way. So it would be amazing if each individual, who is going down there, would register, so IHA can have a good overview on how many people are actually available to help.
